Company Policy

Over the years, I’ve helped a lot of stressed out people achieve in their careers. Work stress significantly impacts home life, but at the same time home life can significantly impact work life. Inevitably I learn where people work and whether or not people can be reimbursed, partially or in full, via a company health policy. The company health policy might offer a certain number of sessions per year with an acupuncturist or a chiropractor, for counselling or for hypnotherapy. A fortunate few will have access to all these services annually and be reimbursed in full.

On more than one occasion I’ve pointed out to a new or prospective client that they have a company health policy that allows for reimbursement of fees for their sessions. The client pays up front, I issue a receipted invoice, the receipt is handed into the respective human resources department and the cost of therapy is reimbursed. All the benefits and none of the cost to the individual. I feel more companies, large and small, should offer this arrangement to their employees. It benefits both the individual and the business.
